Colloquium "Perspectives on the Use of Remote Sensing in Plant Health"

Euphresco, a self-sustained ERA-NET in the phytosanitary area, and the European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization (EPPO) are organising a scientific colloquium on "Perspectives on the Use of Remote Sensing in Plant Health". This colloquium will take place in Paris on 27 September 2018, in the week of the EPPO Council 2018.

The colloquium offers experts from different disciplines, and managers of plant health services the opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas in this important and rapidly developing area. A number of renowned specialists will present the science behind remote sensing, concrete applications in plant health, the services linked to the production and use of data with an eye on regulation and economic feasibility. Andy Nelson of the University of Twente will give a presentation on "Developments in remote sensing platforms, data and services".

The event is open to research programme owners, managers, and regulators. The book of abstracts, including the Colloquium agenda, can be found on the Euphresco website
