FACCE ERA-GAS is organising its 2nd Research Programme Meeting (RPM) and a Summer School in parallel and integrated in the 8th International Symposium on Non-CO2 Greenhouse Gases (NCGG8) “Global Challenges and Local Solutions”. The symposium will be taking place from 12-14 June 2019 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Together with the organisers of NCGG8, an interesting itinerary for ERA-GAS consortium partners, researchers and stakeholders is planned, incorporating plenary & parallel sessions, workshops, networking opportunities and an exciting excursion. The FACCE ERA-GAS 2nd RPM on 12 June brings together coordinators and partners of the ten research projects funded through the first call in 2016, as well as funders and stakeholders. For early career researchers, the Summer School, planned during the conference, offers a great opportunity for learning and networking during dedicated sessions at the NCGG8, discussing GHG methodologies and inventory development with leading scientists. In conjunction, an ERA-GAS Consortium Meeting will be organised.

More information and guidelines for submitting an application for the Summer School is available (soon) at the ERA-GAS website.

The NCGG8 aims to bring together scientists, experts, decision makers and stakeholders in the field of Climate Change with a view of supporting the development of efficient and effective technologies and policies aimed at decreasing the radiative forcing due to non-CO2 greenhouse gases and indirect gases and aerosols.
