*: The ICT-AGRI SRIA aims to describe the state of art of the information-, communication- and robotics technologies in agriculture and food systems, as well as to define the actual and future challenges that restrain its use. It aims to be the reference for research and innovation project priorities within the agri-food sector for the next ten years to enable the use of new technologies for competitive, sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture. The new SRIA will help guiding the research priorities for the European Commission’s Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI) and Directorate‑General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT) with regard to Smart Farming and Digital Agriculture, and will influence the focus and direction of a future ICT-AGRI 3 which is currently being planned.
