JPI Climate scoping workshop 'a Flagship for Latin America'

On May 17th, the Joint Programming Initiative on ‘Connecting Climate Knowledge for Europe’1 will organise a scoping workshop in Helsinki. The aim is to prepare a joint vision and to identify common topics for collaboration between the European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean Community in the research field of climate change. Topics include impact, mitigation and adaptation sectors. The organisers encourage the participation of Latin-American scientists in the workshop.

1The workshop is organised by partners of the JPI Climate Coordination and Support Action SINCERE, ‘Strengthening INternational Cooperation on climatE change Research’ aimed at delivering the JPI Climate Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA). The organising partners are: the Spanish Research Agency (AEI), with the support of funding agencies from Argentina (MINCyT), Denmark (DTU), Italy (CMCC) and The Netherlands (NWO).
