Research projects funded through ARIMNet2 2017 joint call for young researchers have kicked-off

On 28 June 2018 the kick-off meeting took place of the projects funded through the ARIMNet2 2017 joint call for young researchers*. The coordinators and partners from the projects funded through this call gathered in Paris with ARIMNet2 funding agencies’ representatives, to discuss their research plans and methodologies. At the meeting, the researchers were also provided with specific guidance on project management and dissemination aspects, so as to maximise the positive impacts of their activities and networking efforts.

*The ARIMNet2 2017 young researchers call supports trans-disciplinary research projects aimed at producing innovations for enhancing the contribution of agricultural and food systems to sustainable social and economic development. It covers two topics: "Promoting sustainable agriculture for socio-economic development", and "Valorising local products through food value chains improvement." ARIMNet2 funding agencies committed over EUR 5.400 000 to this call. 15 New innovative projects have been selected for funding and will start in 2018.
