Third Water JPI Conference in mixed mode
The Conference “FROM RESEARCH TO PRACTICE: pollutants, pathogens and antimicrobial resistances in the water cycle” from the Water JPI will bring together around 350 national and international water experts from research & development, companies, politics and other stakeholder groups, to discuss their strategies and findings with regard to “pollutants, pathogens and antimicrobial resistances in the water cycle”. The aim of this international conference is to foster the transfer from coordinated research and cooperation with the practice, e.g. end-users and policy makers and will be organised in a mixed mode: both ‘live’ at Mülheim an der Ruhr (D) and online. The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is host for this meeting.
As a special event, a competition: “Junior Water Jump” is organised. Under the topic “Solutions for control of pollutants, pathogens and antimicrobial resistances in the water cycle” the competition offers young start-ups and companies an excellent platform for business models or ideas that help prevent entry and tackle problems caused by pollutants, pathogens and antimicrobial resistances in the aquatic environment.
